From spooky spaniels to wicked Whippets, the Twin Cities is chock-full of wag-worthy Halloween events this month (and we know you couldn't resist that dog costume at Target). Here are five spots to costume up with your pup.

Howl-O-Ween at Bent Brewstillery

Sunday, Oct. 14, 12 to 6 p.m.

Tip one back with Sidewalk Dog at Bent Brewstillery in Roseville for the brewery's second annual Howl-O-Ween. Bent and Chuck & Don's are hosting a dog-centric pop up market with all the stops and we are so here for it. Pumpkin decorating, apple-bobbing, and meeting adoptable dogs are just some of the fun things lined up for hounds and their hoomans. Be doggone ready: all pups who come in costume will be entered in a contest.

Canine Carnival at Modist Brewing Company

Sunday, Oct. 21, 12 to 5 p.m.

My Pit Bull is Family's third annual Canine Carnival at Modist Brewing Company features dog costumes, food truck fare, face painting, a DJ, a silent auction, and fresh brews, with proceeds benefiting the non-profit org.

Pug-O-Ween at Twin Cities Obedience Training Club

Saturday, Oct. 27, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Calling all pug-lovers! Pugs in the City's 13th Annual Pug-O-Ween at TCOTC is the ultimate pugs-in-costume meetup, with raffle baskets, T-R-E-A-T-S, and a costume contest. Sounds like a tail-curling good time to us.

Trick or Treat at Chuck & Don's

Saturday, Oct. 27, 1 to 3 p.m.

Tricks and treats aren't just for kids. Costume up your pup and bark for free treats from Chuck & Don's pup-lovin' team members. Stick around to pose in a social media photo frame for the chance to win a goodie basket.

Halloween Costume Paw-rty at Lowertown Dog Park

Sunday, Oct. 28, 1 to 3 p.m.

St. Paul's Lowertown Dog Park is gonna have more costumed pups than you can shake a stick at during its second annual Halloween Costume Paw-rty. Make a donation to Secondhand Hounds for raffle tickets to win more than $1,000 in prizes from local vendors including Bubbly Paws, Chuck & Don's, Dog Days St Paul, The Dog House Café, Cafe Latte, Northland Natural Pet, the Saint Paul Saints, and many more.

Sidewalk Dog's mission is to help dog parents spend more time with their puppers by discovering and sharing activities they can do and places they can go—together!
