Seattle Howloween Events To Make Your Pup Scream

Is your favorite part of October dressing the floofy love of your life up in ridiculous costumes and posing him by pumpkins as he glares at you? Same. We sniffed out a few dog-friendly Seattle Halloween events for you and pup to celebrate the spooky season together.

Tell Fido costumes aren't *necessarily* mandatory for all these events, but you're not making any promises.

Thomasson Family Farm

Oct. 1-30: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily
Oct. 31: 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Tickets: $9 – $13

If you're a dog-owner in the PNW who also likes a pumpkin patch visit or two, you'll have noticed the difficulty of finding a pumpkin patch that allows dogs. Which is why we wanna howl from the rooftops about Thomasson Family Farm, the only Seattle-area farm we have found so far that is dog-friendly. Leashed dogs are allowed throughout the six acre u-pick pumpkin patch, but not past the ticket booth throughout the rest of the farm. That's enough for at least 2,364 photos though!

Pooches in the Patch

Oct. 31: 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tickets: $0 entrance, pay for specific activities

There's being allowed entrance, and then there's being the star of the show. Bring your little diva to Pooches in the Patch at Craven Farm—an event specifically for dogs and their people! On October 31 (actual Halloween!) from 9:30 to 1 p.m., Fido will have run of the farm just like he has run of your house. All pups must be leashed, and if your tiny tot is a little temperamental or aggressive, this ain't the shindig for you. OH—and bring poop bags (those aren't the types of tricks we want to be leaving the poor children who will be visiting the farm later).

Run Scared

Oct. 31 and/or Nov. 1: Anytime/Anyplace
Tickets: $10 – $40

Ever the doo-gooder, your little runner'll be pumped to show out for the Run Scared annual run benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! This event will be virtual, so you and pup get to call the shots. Choose when you run, where you run, and what you wear. But make it good, because there will be prizes for Scariest, Funniest, Team, Kids, and Dog costumes. Theme of the race is 2020 Apocalypse, so…we're all basically already living it. Might as well RUN SCARED!
