The Canine Connections Club is pleased to welcome the community back to Fido Fest, our annual adoption and fundraising event, on Saturday, May 9, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This free, family-friendly celebration will be held in the East Gym at Grant Community High School, with entry through the auditorium doors. This year’s event brings together several returning rescue organizations, many favorite vendors, and exciting new additions—including an extra guest speaker and a doggy fashion show. Guests of all ages can enjoy activities such as face painting and games. Food and refreshments will be available throughout the event. The Dawg Bowl concession stand will be open, Nothing Bundt Cakes will be on-site, and 7 Brew Coffee will generously provide 150 free iced drinks around noon. Attendees may also use our event QR code (available on our website) to purchase fundraising items such as raffle tickets, painted rocks, dog toys, and paw-themed magnets. A major highlight will be our raffle basket showcase, featuring dozens of themed baskets with prizes ranging from restaurant gift cards and entertainment experiences to pet products, books, toys, seasonal items, and more. All proceeds will support the four rescue organizations participating in this year’s event. Please note that we ask guests to leave their dogs at home unless they are registered participants in the doggy fashion show. We look forward to welcoming community members to this special event celebrating dogs, local partnerships, and compassionate care.

Mission Paw-looza
Mission Paw-looza is our favorite kind of celebration: Wagging tails, happy people, and a whole lot of heart. This community-wide, pet-friendly event brings together animal lovers and their furry companions for a day of fun, connection, and purpose. Guests can enjoy local vendors, activities for pets and people, treats, games, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow dog (and cat!) lovers. Most importantly, Mission Paw-looza supports Mission Animal Hospital’s work to ensure pets receive the care they need, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Every laugh, paw shake, and tail wag helps us keep care accessible for the pets who need it most. We have also shaken things up this year- we will be having a Beer Garden and a Dunk Tank along with other fun activities for all ages. Admission is FREE but the real fun starts when one has the games and activities tickets with them! Get more info : https://www.missionah.org/pawlooza. RSVP: facebook.com/share/1CKRXuU6Dn/
